Probably not.
you should be able to, it would be expensive, maybe more expensive then just buying a vr4. To do it you would need the new engine, the turbo wiring harness, and ecu for sure. The transmission of the VR4 (aka turbo 3000) is an all wheel drive transmission, and the N/A 3000's are FWD. To have the car AWD you need to sap the whole drive train from a VR4, other then that your car will just be FWD.
by putting a turbo engine into it.....non turbo engines were not meant to handle boost especially sohc engines...you can try to supercharge it though...there are many kits out there just for sohc stealth and 3000 gts
or you could just change your high compresion pistons to low compresion ones and buy a t5 turbo
damaged thread in head or spark plug. not tightened right or damaged plug
With the Turbo Diesel this engine is rated for 350hp SAE @ 3000 rpm610 lb/ft @ 1400 rpm

Yeah it's called buying a 300zx twin turbo engine (vg30dett). Much better than making a non turbo into a turbo. The vg30dett costs around $2000 and comes with the transmission which you will need. This is better than putting turbos on your n/a z because the vg30dett comes stock with forged internals which allow you to use a lot of boost. For $3000 you can have the engine, turbos, and tranny bought and installed. For another $1000 or so you can have near 400hp.
because
Basic turbo kits cost around $3000 just for the parts. Labor to install is astronomical as well.
