I need to see a diagram for an old gm 292. I have a 67 Chevie PU. Someone removed the vacuum hose going from the carburetor to the valve cover gasket. I need to see the whole thing to make sure I replace it right.
It is usually in the engine compartment. If not, many of the new belts have the diagram on the cardboard sleeve that they come in.
GM's 4.8 liter is ( 292 cubic inches ) according to my Consumer Guide book
I'm not sure the exact year of the engine, but I just found an engine with the same casting number and due to the offset engine mounts I believe this to be a Chevy 292.
The best place to find a diagram for 1999 GMC 350 cubic inch engine would be a your local GM dealer. They keep diagrams and manuals on all their models.
In GM trucks or new GM cars, the 8th digit of the VIN # is the Engine.
The vacuum diagram is located on the catalyst sticker on the fan shroud. If that is missing, locate a GM repair manual as most DIY manuals will not cover this material.

Most auto-parts stores can and will provide this as a print-out (may be a minimal cost) when you purchase parts from them.
The regulator won't be shown separately on your Pontiac. Most GM vehicles of that vintage had Alternators with built in regulators.
