I had this happen on my 1994 SL, and also had trouble with the battery going dead every other week or so. I brought it to a mechanic who told me there was nothing they could find wrong with it. I continued to have the problem, and finally brought it to a better mechanic who replaced the alternator. This solved the problem. I don't know if you have the same issue, but I do know that I have a 1997 SL now and it just came out of the shop a couple of days ago, again, needed a new alternator. Saturns seem to need them as they hit the 100,000 mile mark.+ Hope this helps.
Antilock Brake Light comes on and stays on when the ABS computer detects some problem with the antilock brakesystem components. You will still have normal brake use, but the Antilock system will probably not work as an Antilock brake system is supposed to work. ABS system diagnostic code readers are available and are recommended for diagnostic purposes, however fixing ABS systems is perhaps best left up to the Pros. . .
If the ABS (antilock brake system) light stays on, there is a problem with the system and it will not function should you need it in a panic situation. Have a mechanic repair it soon for your safety.
frist the brake light looks like its on but its just the glow of the antilock light it is very bright. the antilock is on your rear axle needs replaceing.
A problem has been detected with your Antilock Brake System It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem As long as the red " BRAKE " light in your dash is not on , you still have " normal " brakes It's just that the Antilock feature on your brakes is not working
When anti-lock brake light comes on and goes off, it may be due to a malfunctioning wheel sensor. Another possible cause of this problem is a malfunctioning ignition switch.

your brake fluid is probably low or very dirty.
Antilock brake system
It is on because there is a problem with the Antilock Brake System (ABS).
Antilock brake system
The Antilock Brake System or ABS light stays on in a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder because there is a problem with the brakes. The brakes are either low on fluid or they need to be changed or adjusted.
NO, but it would be a good idea to have your Antilock Brake System checked.
