It's very simple. Take out the old one and put in the new one. Just make sure you plug up the antifreeze hoses and buy more antifreeze for the new radiator.

Yes, it won't hurt.
Check the color of the old antifreeze. It is probably red. This would be Hybrid Organic Acid Technology and should not be mixed with other types. 2000- 2001 is around the time that Plymouth changed to this type of coolant so its important to check for the red color.
If you have the old key or the old cylinder in your hand, you can get a locksmith to decode it. If not, you have to go to a GM dealer.
