Most animals were extinct before human beings even existed. This is because of the various natural events such as competition of species, climate changes and mass extinction events. In fact, over 99% of all life that has ever existed is now extinct.
Most animals, however, are not endangered. The ones that are extinct or endangered are usually threatened by loss of habitat, over-hunting, or pollution by human activities.
well you see it happens from a lot of things but a couple are habitat loss the biggest is hunting and poaching like say white lions for a fact barely any people know about them.

Mostly animals become extinct by massive hunting of the animal till the reproduction rates go down so much they basically stop.
I do not believe in "Global Warming" i do not believe the ice caps are melting and that the polar bears are dying.

Endangered
Humans are the answer! humans caused more animals to go extinct than any other animal.
Extinction would be the proper definition. If the animal is in danger of being extinct, it is endangered. If it is in danger of being endangered, it is threatened. If it in danger of being threatened, it is classified as vulnerable.
The emu is not in any danger of becoming extinct. Its status is "secure".
To stop Siberian Tigers from becoming extinct we can stop destroying their natural habitat and do not buy any animal parts.

extinct
Giraffes are not extinct. But, as with all wild animals, people competing for space, and destruction of their habitat, and poaching, mean that any animal is in danger. Thankfully, game reserves and anti poaching patrols help to reduce the threat to wildlife.
