My motorhome is a 2004 Itasca on a workhorse P32 chassis. The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. I'm in the process of changing it right now.
It is located in the fuel tank. That is where it is located on my 1978 Dodge van Tioga Motorhome 27 foot.
Yes it can. Things to consider would be the fuel source, how to safely deal with the exhaust, and the transfer switch. I would recommend an automatic transfer switch.
Not enough info to answer that question.
it depends on the motorhome. class A stripped chassis and cutaways often relocate. Call the manufacturer. I did on my 1990 fleetwood and they sent me all the drawwings for free. (try looking around the steering column.)
On the in-tank fuel pump, or pumps if you have two tanks.
On my 1989 E350 motorhome, I had a weak fuel pump near the fuel filter. I replaced that and the problem went away. The pump in the tank was fine.
