Not if they are made of aluminum.
Mercedes rims are 5 lug 5x112 and Jeep rims are 5 lug 5x5 (5x127). if you want to mount them you will need to buy adaptors.
No! needs to be at least a 3 in lift or they will rub the fenders.

No, grand Cherokee 93-98 (ZJ) have the same 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern as the Cherokee (XJ). also the comanchee (MJ) wrangler (YJ and TJ models) 1st gen libertys (KJ) as well as ford explorer and ranger. The newer grand Cherokees (WJ 99-04 and WK 05-2010). as well as the new wrangler (JK both 2 door and 4) all use the 5 on 5 bolt pattern.
Yes. When you purchase them make sure that the lug nut pattern fits a jeep. WIth my jeep I used 15 inch wheels and 235-75X15 tires and they didnt rub the inside of the front wheel well when turning. I think you'd find that anything larger than that will rub.

You must have the same inch tyres as rims. You can however change the profile of a tire to give you more lift You can not put a 16" tire on a 15" rim. You can put 15" rims on instead of 16" if they will fit over the brakes.
Yes they should interchange without a problem.
