You can on the condition that you cut and enlarge the speaker wells a little bit
You can use 5x7 or 6x9
Hey, No you will need 5x7 or 6x8
5X7 front and 6X9 rear on my 96 coupe
IN THE FRONT DOORS 5x7'S BACK 6x9'S
the rear speakers are 5x7 but 6x9 will fit into front
According to the "Related Question" below, the 2000 models use 5x7 speakers in both front and rears. I've seen many 6x8 speakers that mount into the 5x7 opening, but no 6x9.Bear in mind that only means the 5x7 will mount without drilling any new holes. If you have a drill, you should go in a take closer look and see if these 6x9's can fit the space anyways.See "Related Questions" below for more
Front speakers in the door are 5 1/4 Back speakers are 6x9, you can use adapter plates and run 5x7 or 6x8
5x7 in the front doors; 6x9 in the rear deck (or 5 1/2" mounted in 6x9 adapters). See detailed info here... http://www.autoclinix.com/Mercury/Rear%20Speakers.html
it really takes 6x8 for both front and rear but 5x7 will work too. they are almost interchangeable.
5x7 in the front doors and 6x9 in the rear deck (or possibly 5 1/2" in the rear mounted in 6x9 adapter plates. See detailed info here... http://www.autoclinix.com/Mercury/Front%20Speakers.html
In 2000, the front door speakers are 6x8 (though 5x7 fits just fine). The rear deck speakers are usually the same size as the front door speakers, but some had 6x9. It's best the measure the opening before buying new speakers for the back.
It varies depending on model year but most Ford Crown Victoria's have 5x7 / 6x8 speakers in the doors and 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. Station wagon models have 5x7 / 6x8 speakers in the rear cargo area. The links below have a lot of useful info on the subject for 1992 and up Crown Victoria models...
