Most os the hand tools are made in China with some specialty tools made in other countries outside the US. Power tools made in China.
Not many tools of any kind are made in the US any more. There are a few air nail guns that are still manufactured in the US, including the Paslode Powermaster Plus and a few Fasco models.
Unfortunately fewer and fewer tools are made in US now. The few that come to mind are GearWrench, some Crescent and a couple more.
They used to be. Now I'm not sure. More tools are made offshore everyday :-(
Unfortunately nowadays not many hand or electric tools are made in US. Some companies make their best tools in America, Germany, Mexico or Japan. Of the popular makes almost all Ridgid, Stanley, Crescent, Porter Cable, Black and Decker, and Milwaukee have their cheaper tools made in China. . Tools are made everywhere but in my opinion the best are made in Germany, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, USA, Japan and Mexico I still use a 1985 DeWalt 384 rotary saw made in Mexico, almost every day.
They are made by Titan-US at Renton, Washington. I've never tried these, but they look like really well made tools.
Only the very expensive ones, over 350 or so. -All other Ridgid tools are now made in China.

Unfortunately you will find that almost all power tools are now made in China. -Certainly all of those that you can buy in 'big box' stores. - You may find some American or European made tools in specialty industrial tool suppliers.
