Electric cattle prods are readily available and legal throughout Australia. Stun guns are illegal in Australia but have been imported by purchasing online.
yes i am almost 100% sure they are legal in all states. i dont know if you can carry them as protection though

It's a type of cattle prod! Anything that pricks, prods, or urges.
No, definitely not. However cattle prods are allowed.
pig prods are a electric prod which are sometimes used to move/load pigs they are legal and may be purcased the are also useful to control children
Prods Oktor Skjaervo was born in 1944.
Dead center prods was created in 2003.
They are called 'Prods'
No, the circus is totally inhumane. They teach the animals their "tricks" usually by negative reinforcement, like prods, electric sticks, and hooks. Never support the circus.
The voltage output of a cattle prod is typically around 4,500 to 5,000 volts although it can be much lower and much higher. Tasers typically have a voltage around 50,000 volts but once skin contact is made the voltage drops to around 1,200 volts. The power of cattle prods and tasers is more dependent on the amps delivered than the actual voltage.
8,000 volts will certainly be enough to arc a small distance through you, but what really does the damage in electrocution is not the voltage, but the amperage. Think of voltage as the force with which the current is pushing it's way though something, and amperage is how much current there actually is. If you have even as little as 5 or 10 amps running though that 8,000 volt current, it could certainly be lethal. Cattle prods are designed to operate at low amperage however, so it is unlikely that it would cause injury with a quick jolt.
yes. its prodigy from mindless behavior.
