Because foods are more pleasant to eat if they have a high fat content. making the food as easy and pleasant to eat without it would require more talent and more expense, This would effect the bottom line. the law discourages nicotine poisoning but fat poisoning is still an acceptable way of earning a living.

It's the amount of salt and fat that is contained in their food, especially with their Hamburgers and french fries. Drinks are also very high in sugar, which can also contribute to weight gain and obesity. Most of these foods are also high in calories, which are attributed to the amount of carbohydrates and saturated or trans fat that is contained in such food. Ground beef and fries are all deep-fried, which contributes to how much fat is found in such fast food. The cheese used for the burgers is processed, which means it contains a lot of salt and not just fat. Most cheese that is used in the American McDonald's (not Canadian) contains antibiotics and growth hormones that are put in dairy cows' feed to make them produce more milk.

Overall, it's all to do with the amount of salt, fat, and sugar that is contained in such fast foods that make this food establishment make food so fattening.

It depends on what you order and how much you eat. It is if you're ordering a Big Mac and a large fries, but not if you order a salad and eat it without the dressing.

If your skinny how many cheeseburgers does it take to make you fat?

One hamburger usually contains about 300 calories. However, this link shows most types of hamburgers, some are more, some less. It takes about 3500 kcal (in nutrition, just listed as a calorie) to gain one pound of fat. The most fattening cheeseburgers (Ruby Tuesday bacon cheeseburger) are 1100 kcal. So, 3500/1100 So it would take about 3 of the most fattening cheeseburgers to gain a pound. To make the transition from skinny to fat, it would take about 50 pounds. 3*50=150. It would take 150 cheeseburgers to do so. However, one would die if they ate all those cheeseburgers in one sitting- break them up over a month. If you were eating for each day 3 of those cheeseburgers (1 at lunch, 2 at dinner), you'd gain a pound a day. So it would take about 2 months of eating nothing but breakfast and cheeseburgers to get fat.
