No, we just believe something different than you, that doesn't mean we're crazy.
Another answer
The members of the Mormon Church are normal, very nice, loving, caring people. They live with high standards and that makes them different. Therefore, other people like to make fun, criticize because possibly they are jealous of what the Mormon religion has to offer which is actually offered and given to the whole wide world. Jesus Christ is our mediator between God, he wants us to return to our Heavenly Father some day. This is the plan of salvation.
Of course this is a matter of opinion. Some people think that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are crazy because of their beliefs, and others think that they are just conservative religious people, it all depends on how you look at it.
Well, the answer is this; everyone has their own opinion but Mormons are not weird but because of the way the world is today - not following in the footsteps of God and not keeping the commandments of God. Mormons are considered weird because they are strong and don't follow fads, media and other worldly ways. For this Mormons are persecuted, ridiculed, criticized, put down etc. No Mormons are not weird, they are trying to live good, clean, healthy, loving lives with our families and loved ones.
I guess that depends on what you think is "weird". But for the most part, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called "Mormons") are just typical people. Yes, there are some super weird Mormons, but most of us wear the same clothes, listen to the same music, watch the same tv shows, have the same hobbies, go to the same schools, have the same jobs, drive the same cars, and live in the same homes as anyone else. You probably wouldn't be able to pick a Mormon out of a crowd.
I suggest looking at the videos and profiles of Mormons at mormon.org/people. These are all real Mormons, unscripted. This will help you make your own decision as to whether we are weird or not.
Here are a few suggestions:

Elaine Bradley - drummer
Christopher Fairbank - Ballet dancer
Matz Yukihiro - computer programmer
Bev Gosling - architect
Sunday Talabi - nurse
