Muslims tend to concentrate on verses in the Qur'an in which God is very critical of the Jews (and also of the Christians). There are many passages in the Qur'an which say that the Jews rejected the Prophets of God and disobeyed God many times. The Qur'an mentions their giving trouble even to Moses. When they rejected Jesus the Messiah, of course, then their contract with God expired.

The Qur'an states that, though there are many pious, god-fearing, good people from among the Jews, there are also many of them who are stiff necked and will simply not obey the Lord. In fact, it says, that there is a number of them who are downright bent upon opposing God. I suppose there are those people in every religious group.

The conflict in the Middle East - and Israel's state-sponsored terror that has been going on almost entirely hidden from the American public for over sixty years - causes Muslims to focus on the criticism of the Jews in the Qur'an more and more. There is certainly, at the very least, suspicion. However the funny thing is that, throughout history, Muslims and Jews have always gotten along pretty well. Not perfectly well, but certainly better than Christians and Jews have.

As the first person said, you cannot make a blanket statement like all Muslim hate Jews - but they seem to have contentions that have been going on for thousands of years.

Yes. Any Muslim that does not recognize Israel's right to exist is completely

antisemitic and you can make this statement because if they want to destroy and wipe out the country, what else can you call it? But...

But before deciding, look at the facts:

1. They both want Jerusalem, the area where the temple of the Jewish Lord Most High used to stand, an now the Dome of the Rock is located as well. etc.

2. Bear in mind that in Biblical times God gave the Land to the Jews (Book of Exodus), in 70AD Rome destroy the temple and took the people into exile,

3. In 1948 the UN by resolution re-created the Jewish state of Israel.

4. In the 6 day war, Israel won and took from the Arabs additional land that they feel was theirs from biblical times, but of course the people who lived there will disagree.

If I used to live in Palestine and I lost my home, I would be very upset and may hate the Jews, Hamas (my perspective) hates the Jewish state of Israel and wants it gone. I do not hate anyone.

But look on the other side as well, If I was a Jew, I would say, thousands of years ago, God told us to take this land and we did, we lost it in 70AD, we were given a homeland (it is small but it is ours) and we are surrounded on every side with problems. We want to obey God.

Just the these issues alone are enough to cause contention between Arabs (Muslims) and Jews and to cause wars and hate.

So I included all this data in the answer to make it perfectly clear that I think some despise the Jewish people for the reasons outlined above, but I do not think, nor will I judge any of this. Egypt for example, sells the Jews natural gas though a pipeline.

So some may, some may not but as the first person said there is a conflict going on, and it may continue until the end of the Age at this rate.

Final thought: The Bible says those who Bless Israel will be blessed, so in my loving simple way of thinking, I wish everyone would bless Israel so they all could be blessed and happy. (Muslims, Jews Christian, everyone)
