For the most part no, each tribe in Nigeria speaks their native and tribal language but they also speak the official language which is English(since England or the United Kingdom gave them independence). In schools in nigeria learning English is mandatory but speaking your native tribal is also important. So in nigeria people speak their cultural/tribal langauges first, speaking English is secondary to them but they speak it. Not American English but british English. So in nigeria majority of the citizens speak more then 2-3 langauges.
