According to the Missouri Statutes, there is nothing clearly stating a particular breed of dog is legal or illegal. However, there are tax and licensing laws that must be upheld. Please see Statute 273.070, 273.080, and 273.090. There is also a section on dogs biting that is interesting, but it clearly states any dog, not a particular breed.
