Sikhs have no written doctrine regarding homosexuality;however a Sikh religious leader described homosexuality as "against the Sikh religion and the Sikh code of conduct and totally against the laws of nature," and called on Sikhs to support laws against gay marriage. But many Sikhs reject this idea and accept everyone as equals.

Being gay or lesbian has nothing to do with what religion you are part of. Your religion only affects how you express yourself. This is another reason to show the constriction religion has on people, but that is simply an aside.

Sikhism does not have any specific teachings against homosexuality. It is not mentioned in the Sikh Holy book, Guru Granth Sahib. However, the temporal leader of Sikhism has condemned homosexuality saying it is the duty of political leaders to vehemently oppose the acceptance of homosexuality and to ensure same-sex marriage is never legalised.

No Sikhs are not allowed to bring their kirpans on a plane because it is seen as a weapon .This can be justified as the aiport security has to check everyone's safety, but still i feel that a small kirpan should be allowed as its mandatory for a baptised sikh to keep kirpan with himself every moment.
