No Sikhs are not vegetarian although many choose to be. One a Sikh has taken the Amrit ceremony (a form of Sikh baptism) they are not allowed to eat Kutha meat (meat which is ritually prepared like Halal or Kosher).

Sikhs are not vegetarian, but some choose to be. These people usually have converetd from Hindu Vaishnavism to Sikhism and therefore still do not eat meat.

Sikhs cannot eat "Kuttha" meat or meat ritually killed like Halal and Kosher

Sikhs are vegetarian as the idea is to keep the body pure also harming wildlife is just a moral violation towards Mother Nature. Some Sikhs choose not to be vegetarian but they still don’t eat Halal or ritually slaughtered meat .

Yes they are as they are NEVER supposed to harm wildlife. Also eating meat destroys the idea of keeping the body pure so Sikhs have to be vegetarian and MUST NEVER EAT MEAT!!!
