Generally they are the same size but cannot be glue together. You have to get an adapter fitting to join the two together. I don't know of any type of glue that will properly bond the two types of plastic together, unless someone has developed one since I last checked into it several years ago. Good luck.

There are lots of fittings available that are needed to fit a corner shower rod. The only problem is is that one has to know the right size of the fittings that are needed. So it depends on the size of the corner shower rod as well.

There should be a sticker under the hood indicating whether it uses R12 or R134A. Unfortunatley a lot dont. The only way to tell is by the high and low side fittings. R12 fittings are bothe the same size. R134A has two different size fittings where one is larger than the other, ussually the high side fitting is larger than the low side.
Pvc not properly put together or was not glued, Turn off main water supply cut out leaking area replace and put back together. Make sure you measure PVC so that you will purchase correct size.
