NO! Even though they look the same, the center hole on 1987 up 8 hole rims are bigger than your 1983 rims.
they should but you may need a spacer kit
nah their single wall
Might do. Depends on the size of the pot hole, your tires and on how fast/hard you hit it.
The center hole is smaller on a Chevy on the factory rims all aftermarket rims have the larger center hole. the newer trucks went metric so i don't know if that has changed things, i heard it has, just call your local rim dealer or speed shop
Yes, you might have to fiddle around with axle spacer sleeves to get the alignment, hopefully they should come pre spaced for the bike
yes they will they have the same bolt hole pattern
will a 5x144.3 fit a 04 cts
4- 100 meaning four studs spaced @ 100 mm very common so you should have no prob finding rims
Short answer: No, The reason being that the rims my be the same size for example 225/7.5/R16 but the lug patterns are different sizes and spaced differently. If you did get it to for you would be risking damage to the wheel and rim. My advice is to go to your local salvage yard and make a deal for a trade or buy the rims you need.
I've never seen any that aren't the same. One size fits all.
No they will not. They are 1 bolt hole less then 6.
