Camping filters are definitely not the only way to clean water there are many others. For example: Home water filters, reverse osmosis, or distilling your water. But there are many other more scientific ways also.
No problem. Your filters are rated to clean up to or no more than 75 gallons of water. Less water is OK. 55 gallons is great size tank and your filters should keep it nice and clean. Your Oscars should be very happy. Don't forget to change the filters every couple of weeks. Have fun.
FRAM makes garbage oil filters, I cut one open and the inside was cardboard. I will only use pennzoil oil filters because It keeps the oil clean and they are very strong filters. The WIX filters are the best in my opinion.
To clean the air filter on a Yamaha YFM200 remove the filter. Spray the filter with filter cleaner that you can by at a home improvement store. Fill a bucket with warm water and dish soap, swish the filter in the water and soap. Rinse the filter in a bucket of plain water. Only wash foam, or cotton filters, not paper.
