Are chips healthy or unhealthy?
They are unhealthy but in a way healthy. They are healthy because they help you have a balanced diet.
Chips are maybe considered to be healthy because they are usually made of potatoes and with vegetable oil (type of oil used depending on chip brand). But recent research has found that chips are very high cholesterol and sometimes have bad chemicals in them to alter the flavor. Overall, chips are quite unhealthy.
Healthy food would be things like : salads, vegetables, fruit, lean meat, chicken, milk and milk products such as (buttermilk, cheese, yogurt, etc) Unhealthy food would be: french fries, fast food, greasy foods, fried foods, chips, etc.It may not hurt you to have a little bit of unhealthy foods once in a while but not too often.
some people thick potato chips are healthy but they are not you can eat them or they will add alot of carbs Answer Potato chips contain a lot of sodium and grease, which leads to acne for certain people. One bag of potato chips contains 160-300 calories, due to high amounts of carbohydrates. Consuming potato chips on a daily basis would lead to weight gain and possibly obesity.
