A highly subjective question. Arguably, modern computers are very sophisticated computing platforms in terms of computing power, scale of integration, size, power consumption, low cost, robustness and many other aspects.
As such, modern computers certainly mark astonishing accomplishments in Electronics Engineering and material science.
My personal candidate for such a competition would be a modern digital hearing aid, however. These devices are no bigger than a few pin heads and may even fit into the ear canal. Running on a single, tiny battery for several days if not weeks, they perform real-time spectrum analysis of the sounds captured, apply frequency-band specific filter characteristics, and transform the resulting signal into a soundwave output. I find that pretty astounding.
