Are drugs mentioned in the bible such as crack?

The Bible does not ever mention the word marijuana, but in Galatians 5:20 it mentions as one of the works of the flesh. Sorcery/pharmakeus- (drug/drug abuse)which is greek. Sorcerers would use drugs as magic or medicine to calm people or make them fell good or in today's words stoned/high.

I think that if it mentions in the bible that sorcerers used marijuana to calm people or make them feel good, its considered medical. Medicines aren't against the bible, and since weed falls into that category, then i dont see why marijuana would be considered a sin. God gave us the world, he gave us plants, he gave us animals for our use. And anything grown from the ground made by god, its not a sin. Many would agree because more than 80% of America's population smokes marijuana to calm themselves and make themselves feel good, like being high. And I will live up to it not being a sin.

Notice there was no soap box anywhere on this page. Allow me to retort. The human body does not need a drink of alcohol or a joint or a blow job or a crack binge. In reality Nothing. Except food and water music prayer and meditation. Or I can't live without my cheese, if your contemplating being a vegan. YOU CAN if your ass would try. Find a support group. When you hear stories of someone strung out on drugs...then one day has a break down and near suicide...? comes from lack of trust in self...have some anguish from a screwed up childhood most likely. No offense. I type the truth. The body can do with out all of that external junk. Trust me or some one. IF you have or had kids would you want to see them strung out on meth? unless you have a bout with hating to brush your teeth then don't heed these words. That is all in the class of freewill. It is up to you...the bewildered to find it with in yourself to stop these destructive habits. Ask any knowledgeable bible guru, if Adam and Eve had these things! No. So no one needs cocaine, a razor cut or ecstasy! shrooms are nice! but not necessary. I have found if you open yourself to God, he helps. I have been through drugs, they don't help you. You may be so deep and love to lie to yourself. When you are in so much pain and alone, when the party is over and you feel like you want to off your life. You will naturally call on HIM for help. The Bible does not address smoking since tobacco plants were only known in Europe and Asia after widespread colonization of the Americas began. The Bible does say that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and, to some, that means you should not smoke. The opposite point being to push that policy to extremes and ask why not. Does this mean you cannot eat anything unhealthy? Does this mean you must get the recommended levels of activity and sleep? Each Protestant must decide for himself or herself what standard tgey will apply whereas Catholics and Orthodox would check with their bishop as to the Church's teachings on the subject.
