Best Answer

All parts of a geranium are poisonous to both dogs, and cats. Symptoms include diarrhea at first, as well as increase in panting and lethargy. The first symptom will generally be diarrhea. One go at the plant should not be fatal, depending on how much is consumed, however an immediate vet visit is recommended.

Actually, my research shows that they are poisonous, and may produce at least diarrhea. I would encourage you to check with a vet.
