Yes, my teachers have them. It looks gross and unnattractive so when you get armpit hair you should try to shave.
I personally think it is totally cool and empowering when women grow their armpit hair
there is tremendous pressure in this culture for women to shave, which most of them succumb to. in my opinion it is no more gross or unattractive than men with armpit hair.

Some/Most girls do, but as you probably know, girls go through puberty, just like boys, and sometimes all the chemicals and stuff (don't ask me what they're called :D) just don't produce enough of themselves, so a very small minority of women have little or no hair.

∙ 14y agoYes they can grow armpit hair, but in todays society MOST, not all, women shave their pits. Also MOST, but not all men do not like a hairy woman. That goes for the pits as well as her lower region.

It is said to be more hygienic to shave this hair off because of body odour and that's why it is in our culture today to do it. ~ Every culture is different. French women are more natural and wholesome (generalizing here, I know.) Women in the US "grow armpit hair" too.. they just shave it off. Why? Social conditioning. Apparently deodorant has substances that lead to breast cancer. So yeah, so much for "being better." Personally, I shave/use deodorant.
