Screws hold better, but stainless steel nails last longer. Why not use stainless steel screws? They're the best of both worlds.

first, remove the 4 screws on the back of the watch (but you knew that part) take off the cover. You will probably need to take the watch out of the casing which is a little tricky but it can be done. look for 6 black screws. 3 of them are screwed into plastic and 3 into small metal brackets. remove the 3 on the metal bracket. It will remove the battery cover and voila, there is your battery.
