yes they are. they both made by york international. luxaire would be considered a premium line. york of course is there ultimate premiere line. guardian and a line called evcon were considered to be more of a builder model.....i never sold too many of the evcon or guardian myself.
Luxaire is an off brand manufactured by York (Johnson Controls Inc). I have been to the York plant in York Pa twice back in the mid 90`s. Not where they make Luxaire but that plant was staffed by UAW workers. I doubt the Luxaire brand is made with union labor especially now that the parent company is JCI.
Moulds and furnaces
Guardian Service was all aluminum cookware, not steel.
Both furnaces are well made and rated well. Hamilton furnaces generally are significantly more expensive and would probably be better suited for commercial use.
Valor Guardian
Sometimes on top hot springs in the ground, or where water could be pumped from-there were furnaces that heated the water.
No, it is something someone made up.

You must hire a family attorney who will proceed with all the steps necessary to have you made the woman's guardian. You cannot do this without an attorney and a judge declaring you are the legal guardian.
It says on the furance A/C tag on my unit that They are designed and assembled in the US. But I don't know where the parts are made,
Guardian is the economy line of furnaces made by York. They are what they are - an economy line furnace. Don't confuse them as an equal to a Trane, Carrier or Lennox caliber of furnace. They are definitely built "cheaper" than those. However, I would put them as a step above Goodman, Tempstar, Whirlpool, and other bottom line furnaces. We sell YORK equipment and have been very pleased with the Guardian units. Not many intro line units can say they have a rating of 95.5% efficiency. Comparing the units to are other intro line (weatherking) and a friend of ours intro line (Goodman) they have a much heavier built cabinet and are much more versatile.
The Frigidaire appliances are originally made and founded in Indiana. But in the later years this company branches into several country like Canada and some parts of USA, for this reason Frigidaire appliances may be made from those countries. The Frigidaire company was founded as Guardian Frigerator Company. In 1919 the company adopted the name Frigidaire.
