If you do not reach the read zone in your RPM scale, you are fine. Just make sure that you are using a good coolant and thermostat.
I would even use low opening temperature thermostat if you like to drive with high RPMs often.
Take it to autozone and have the altermator checked out for free. It is probably bad.
bad iac valve or vac. leak
Sounds like mass air sensor is out. is it burnung exsess fuel? if so sensor is bad. Also check knock sensor on side of block. for some reason the threads losen and will back out on it's own. This will cause rough and high idle and bad shift points. Hope this helps.
If your doing it on purpose then DON'T.If the engine is doing it via the computer you need to take it into the shop and have them look at it. There seems to be a bad sensor telling the computer wrong information. Running at a high rpm when the motor is cold and with no load is not good for it.
It depends how high you're talking about. If you mean revving all the way to the red line then yes this is bad for the engine. But the rpm shouldn't exceed 4000 rpm. If it is slightly below this then it is fine.
when a clutch goes bad the bike will not be able to go top speed or let the rpms get to high in any gear because the clutch is engaging when it is not the right time hope that helps
the most obvious sign that the tps is bad is if u step on the gas pedal and the rpms go lower than it what should be igling wich is about 800 rpms
no it isn't
BAD cam bearings. Could just be LOW oil pressure. Oil pressure specs. At 1000 RPMs oil pressure should read at least 6 PSI. At 2000 RPMS it should read at least 18 PSI are better. If not REPLACE oil pump and pick-up screen.
There is nothing harmful in an eclipse - it is simply a shadow falling across the moon.
No no no, 3000-4000 rpms is the average speed for highway traveling, driving too close to the red mark on your rpm is bad
I think 5w30 if you don't have too high mileage. If you do have high mileage on your car then it's not a bad idea to use oil with higher viscosity, for instance 10w30.
