Definitely not. There are lots of mixed marriages of different kinds: Hungarian man with foreign wife or vica versa, and the parties can be both from the Eastern or Western world.

Nowadays around 10 million Hungarians live in Hungary and cca. 3.5 million outside of Hungary, so lots of mixed marriages have Hungarians parties but not from the same country. Also there are thousands of marriages between Britons, Americans, Russians, French.

Hungarians usually don't tend to step into marriage with African or European/American African people. I'ts not a kind of racism. The number of African people in Hungay is (I guess) less than 0,1% of the whole population so it is a little bit exotic to even meet African people there.

Why did Hungarians dislike communist?

In 1956 Hungarians were led by a hard-line Communist called Mátyás Rákosi. Hungarians hated the restrictions which Rákosi's Communism imposed on them. Hungarians lost their freedom of speech, they became terrified of the secret police (Gestapo) and they resented the fact that thousands of Soviet troops and forces were in Hungary. Worst of all, Hungarians had to pay for the Soviet Union forces to be in their country. -bec.
