Keeping a healthy weight is ideal, because overweight people and animals experience 500% more health issues than healthy weight people and animals. WHen you are overweight, you are at risk for hundreds of health issues. SO, get your act together and go exercise, you'll thank me when you are 70 and healthy as a horse. good luck!

For example, my mother has a thyroid disorder and she is overweight. She is constantly eating healthy and she exercises for hours everyday. There is nothing she can do about this problem, there is not medical cure. This just goes to show people that they shouldn't judge others before they know the situation that those people are in. Our weight is not always as easy to control as people may think.

A BMI of 25-30 would be considered to be in the overweight range, and therefore would carry a higher health risk.
