Pearl Forum drums are their cheapest line. They are very cheap for Pearl drums. Depending on the size of the kit, you can get them for $600 or so. There used to be a big 8-piece kit for under $2000, but I can't find it on Musician's Friend anymore. If you want it, check Guitar Center or other places. Hope this helps!
They are one of the largest brands of drums. They create entry level kits all the way up to pro drum kits. If you want the best sound, you'll want to spend more to get one of their Masters or Reference kits. Lower priced kits include: Forum and Soundcheck series.

Pearl and Ludwig drums are good for about $100 more. Drums under 500 dollars are not durable and don't sound very good.

From my personal experience, both are pretty equal using the stock heads and rims, but when using higher quality heads (remo, evans, etc) and tune them well I think the export's tone is significantly better.
50-5000 USD or more depending on specifics.
With pearl, you get what you pay for. The only type of pearl kit I would consider would be the Masterworks kit, medium thickness shells. In my opinion, the more expensive pearl kits are the same quality and sound as a less expensive DW kits such as Pacific. The Pacific line are beautiful drums and they sound amazing.
Pearl established its company for building maple drums that are ideal for heavy performances and studio recording. Maple gives a warmer sound from the middle range while birch gives a more focus and sharper sound.

To find the serial number on Pearl Export drums, check the interior of the drum shell, usually near the bearing edge or inside the drum's end. For hardware, such as the bass drum pedal or drum throne, the serial number can often be found on the bottom or underside. Additionally, some models may have the serial number located on the badge attached to the drum shell. If you're unsure, consulting the Pearl website or user manual for your specific model can provide more guidance.
