Are people afraid of Killer Whales?
Well it depends. It the person don't like killer whales then yes they are afraid of killer whales.
It is not so much that sharks are scared of killer whales, more that they are prey of killer whales. The killer whale is the oceans number one predator but this does not mean to say that as its prey the shark is scared of it. There are thousands of types of sharks. So on the whole some sharks are quite likely to be afraid of killer whales where as others probably not.
People train killer whales through love and patience and they know if the killer whales don't want to do it they will not do it. They carry on training killer whales and they keep on practicing until they get it right so that they can add it to their shows. Keep in mind that Orcas do not want to be in captivity.
No but there are some cases of killer whales (Orca whales) attacking people and some of their trainers. Killer whales are very friendly mammals to humans because they are not threats to humans like humans are threats to them. Some killer whales attacked people by accidents, not on purpose. The human race had treated te killer whales very badly because humans killed more and more killer whales than killer whales that had killed humans before…
The untrained killer whales in the wild are known not to kill people. They only kill their food which is squid, polar bears, seals, sea lions, walruses, manatees, maybe even other whales or sharks Also, killer whales are not whales are not whales. They are actually very large dolphins. They're called killer whales because they are very large predators.
