Some research has concluded that cell phone signals can cause cancer and disruptions to the ecosystem.

Actually that is incorrect. Cell phones work off of microwaves which are the second type of electromagnetic energy on the spectrum and are only harmful in great quantities like what is found in a microwave oven. Cell phones do not run on near that amount and are not harmful towards you nor the environment.
