As Scrap Metal...NO. There are those who collect tabs for artwork or other uses and may be willing to pay more. But if sold as scrap metal, it is bought as aluminum and 1 pound of tabs is worth no more than 1 pound of aluminum cans.
100 tabs will sell for about 4 cents. The tabs are just the same aluminum as the rest of the cans. Save the whole can, crush it and recycle it. It's worth far more than just the tab. Read the link below about "Can Tabs Urban Myth".
Plus the soda? A can is worth little more than a few cents. Tin is cheap as, thus cans are worth little.
I look at alot of answers from other website that people wrote, a some said hardly worth anything And others said worth $200 per gallon. Well I am here to tell you that the are actually worth $200 and is not some hoax. I recycle them all the time and turn them into a recycling agency in my area.
not much, more than likely you will need to get more cans than that because 100 cans is only about two dollars if they are 50 cents a pound.
the value of a scrap tin is.... Firstly...Tin cans are not Tin! They are steel cans witha Tin wash in them to retard rust. They are worth light iron rate at your local yard, give or take. True Tin is worth MORE than copper!
Aluminum cans are more valuable than plastic bottles.
Tabs? Need more info please.
because the pull tops are dissolved with different metals so they can bend. :P :) :D ;)
obviously yes. i dont know why this is even a question. All cans can can when given the chance. But more often than not cans cannot can cans because they are denied the opportunity to prove what cans can really do.
It depends on the brand. Some brands have so much sugar (of various kinds) that one bushel's worth of corn would not be enough for 400 cans. Others are low enough that one bushel would sweeten as many as 600 cans.
