The rifle came from Dick's Sporting Goods. The dealer of the handguns was not named.
Impossible to answer without knowing what you mean by illegal handguns.
ALL OF THEM. Handguns are illegal.
Handguns work by having some mechanism hit a sensitive primer to initiate a control deflagration and shoot a bullet. If a handgun doesn't have an external hammer that either strikes a firing pin or the primer directly, it will have an internal hammer--called a striker.
Yes, they are.
Yes. .22LR or .22 Magnum are quite popular for semiautomatic handguns. Walther, Colt, Browning, Beretta, Ruger and many more companies make .22LR autos.
Laws vary from state to state. In MOST states, there is no "registration" of firearms as such. If you live in a state that DOES require registration, then yes, that would be illegal.
In the US, yes.
Fail to understand the "so called" part of your question. Yes, handguns made in other nations are imported into the US by a Federally licensed importer.
MOST handguns do not have an option of a stock. In most cases, adding a shoulder stock to a handgun is illegal under US law unless it is registered with the Federal BATFE as a "short barreled rifle" and a $200 tax paid on it. There are a VERY few exceptions to that law- certain Mauser, Luger, and Browning pistols.
