Yes. You have to go through the standard federal process for suppressors.
The answer is yes. A sound supressor is legal to own in the State of Connecticut as long as it is registered with the ATF as it is an NFA regulated item. All it takes is an application and $200 for the transfer.
Suppressors are legal, yes.
Usually not. But silencers/sound suppressors have been made for them.
Yes, provided they have the proper NFA tax stamp applied to them.
"Legal" denotes a law- and the law varies depending on where you are- and you did not tell us that. In most of the US, firearm suppressors ARE legal, but must be registered with the Federal BATFE, and a $200 transfer tax paid. Please note that for most rifles, a suppressor does NOT "silence" the rifle, but can greatly reduce the sound.
Not very likely. Muzzle brakes work by venting gases, whereas sound suppressors work in part by preventing the escape of these gases. Some flash suppressors are designed to facilitate the attachment of a sound suppressor, such as the Smith Vortex and AAC Blackout, but not muzzle brakes.
transferable machine guns are now legal. You still have to go through the paperwork and the $200 ATF tax, but you no longer need a Class III license to own them. However, other NFA items such as SBR's, SBS's and suppressors are still illegal without a Class III.
Several cats are legal in Michigan.
I live in Michigan. and it is legal here!
If it was legal in Nevada, it is legal in Michigan.
While suppressors are illegal in Illinois, flash suppressors are not as they do not deaden or quiet the sound of a rifle in any way. "Sec. 24-1. Unlawful Use of Weapons" (6) Possesses any device or attachment of any kind designed, used or intended for use in silencing the report of any firearm
