im not sure, ive given sunflower kernels to my dog a 3 yr old pit bull and she loves them and i didnt notice any abnormalities. but you should still ask a vet i hope this helps

it has been my experience that anything we can eat, a dog can eat. i`ve heard that chocolate is toxic to dogs, but my dog loves it, and has been eating it with me for more than ten years and is doing just fine.

Yes, sunflower seeds are perfectly fine to give to your dog, but in moderation. Dogs can nearly eat anything that is organic and could be eaten by humans. Hope this helps :).
