Yehh course you can, i have before, i am going to turkey later an i am bringin some later, everyone is like no because they look like bullets and stuff, but no they dont they just x ray like any other item in your bag and then you can carry them through.

Tampons are a personal hygiene product, just like sanitary pads or menstrual cups they are an essential part of a menstruating persons personal hygiene - if a woman was menstruating they wouldn't be able to stop her from flying, thus menstrual products have to be allowed on a plane.
Tampons would either be worn or kept in your bag, and in your bag they will just go through the screening like everything else in your bag, no reason for these to be an issue at all.
