To answer your question to the best of my knowledge, the statistics say that yes, most likely teenage mothers are more likely to end up single mothers. Being a mother is a very difficult job, believe me I know, as I am a single mother myself, and it is very hard to get a date when you have to stay home every night with a little one. Also, many men are scared off by the idea of getting involved with a woman with a child because it means more responsibility, having tp possibly be a father to that child, needing more money. If you are pregnant and a teenager, and you are trying to make a decision about whether or not to keep the child, I urge you to seek professional counseling of some sort before you make a decision. Don't make a decision based on whether or not you think it will make you single down the line. Many family planning clinics have counselors available to help make a decision, and there are hotlines as well. Look in your phone book for the numbers. Good luck.
