The ancient Ibo religion held that the sun god, Chukwu created the world. Today, most Ibos are Christian, and a small number, perhaps 30,000, have adopted Judaism.
In 1999, a member of an Ibo Christian congregation travelled to Israel and came back claiming that the Ibos were Jews. He convinced the whole congregation to embrace Judaism. In Nigeria, the Ibos are often identified with Jews because of their business acumen, their attachment to family and education, and the discrimination to which they have been subjected during the Biafran civil war. During that war, they received Israeli military aid, adding to speculation of secret ties between the Ibos and the Hebrews.

Why men as IBO in Amway have to have a clean shaven face?
I'm an IBO with a beard and no one, ever, has mentioned it, given me a dirty look, or even talked about facial hair do and donts. Several other IBOs in my group have the moustache/goatee combo but I'm the only one I've met yet with a full beard. I think a lot of people make the personal choice to be clean shaven for the same reason salesmen in general choose to be clean shaven, which is that facial hair on men is intimidating and IBOs don't want to come across as intimidating. I've considered shaving my beard down to be more approachable but ultimately decided to let my personality and actions speak for me instead.

This could be debated. According to the many of the white men's perspectives, the Ibo's had behaved like savages, and needed to be civilized. According to the Ibo's perspective, they had tolerated the whites as best as they could but acted against them when the white man had not behaved properly.

Infact I've seen cases where weddings has been below standard of the bride's family because the groom's family refused to be asissted. Dosent mean the bride/or her family cant help if their help is required, but basically, a white wedding is the groom's responsibility in Ibo land;'. However, we also know from when we were growing up that the men pay for the wedding and kind of get fined if they do more than what they are required or so.. pls do not quote me on this aspect though but we know the men pay for it
