It is important to note that the military/paramilitary conflict is between Israelis and Palestinians, not Jews and Palestinians since the Israeli Army contains more than just Jews.
Israelis and Palestinians are still fighting because neither group has achieved their objective. The Israeli objective is to have a dominant state in the region, living in peace with its neighbors, and with borders that are secure. The Palestinian objective is to have an independent government, international relations, and freedom of movement for its inhabitants. Unfortunately, both of these objectives are greatly expanded by fanatics on both sides who see the only possible implementation of these ideals being one in which the other party cannot exist or exists in such a weakened and defeated state that there can be no real peace. This is why the conflict continues.

No.
Neither is fighting "about" Gaza. The Israelis do not want Gaza, so there is no contest in that regard. The fight is about who should control Israel proper and the West Bank territories. It just happens that Hamas, the most militant faction in the Palestinian Territories fighting for those territories, is in the Gaza Strip and attacks Israelis in the area just outside the Gaza Strip with rockets to press concessions. The Israelis respond, not with concessions but with targeted assassinations and attacks on Hamas officials and structures. Since Israeli firepower is stronger than Hamas firepower, much more is made of the Israeli retaliations (in Gaza) than the Hamas provocations (in Israel).
It is unclear how the question is to be read.
There are some Palestinians who fight on behalf of Israel (in the IDF), but most Palestinians fight against the Israelis. Many Palestinians only want an independent Palestine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip while others want all of Israeli territory as well. It depends on the Palestinian in question.
Israel is still fighting Hamas, but not the other Palestinians.
Yes. There has not been a universal solution to the conflict.
Yes. The conflict has not been resolved.
The Israelis and Palestinians are fighting over a small piece of land called the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The Israelis and Palestinians are fighting about a wide variety of things. Please see the Related Question to read more about the conflict.
No. Neither of them are fighting "the Muslims" as a group. Most Palestinians are Muslims anyway. The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict is between two national groups: Israelis who are primarily Jewish against Palestinians who are primarily Muslim. However, neither Israeli nor Palestinian forces have declared that they are fighting Islam. There are numerous mosques in both countries where Muslim worshipers freely pray to God.
The Israelis believe it is rightfully theirs according to the Biblical land of Israel, but the UN-recognized border goes outside it, so the Palestinians want to have it as their own nation. The previous opinion is incorrect. Israelis do not actually want the Gaza Strip, specifically because it is NOT part of the Biblical Land of Israel (Gaza is recognized to be part of the Philistine State in Biblical Times). The reason that there is conflict in Gaza is that Israel believes that the regime in Gaza is hard-set on the destruction of Israel. Palestinians do want the Gaza Strip, as explained by the previous opinion, so that they can have their own country.
No. It is very rare, but the probability increases if you talking about Arab Israelis and Palestinians (as opposed to Jewish Israelis and Palestinians).
Between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinians (of whom ca 700 were Hamas) and 13 Israelis (of whom 10 were soldiers) were killed.

With the civil war ended in 1948, the Palestinians still occupied a small proportion of their former territory - the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. the Israelis did not give these territories to the Palestinians, since they had not yet conquered them.
