They are the same. ANSWER they are the same if they are both 4x4 or both 2x4 because the 4x4 has popup pistons and the head is clearenced for them and the 2x4 has dish pistons and is not clearenced for the popup pistons
no. of frames =area of room /area of a frame. area of a frame= 2X4 square cm. area of room= 22X 22 square cm. no.of frames =22 X22 / 2x 4 = 60.5 .
Depends on the driver and the tires.
3500 Lbs
honestly don't even try this approach, just buy another truck much cheaper, they have different frames
8 it is the same as 4+4
Yes. In general, two matrices of the same size can be added.
2x4-56 2x4=8 8-56= -48)
Yes.
I swapped a 85 2x4 long bed Toyota cab onto a 85 4x4 short bed Toyota frame. It bolts to the frame just fine, but there are few changes you need to make. The speedomeitor cable is longer on the 4x4. The emergency brake cable is a different lenght. You will need to make a bigger hole in the cabs transmission tunnel for the transfer case shifter. Fuel lines from the fuel tank are different lenght. That is it. While you are changing the cab use the extra rubber washers from between the cab and frame from the other cab on the 4x4. It gives you about 1 inch body lift on the cab for free. That makes a lot difference when unbolting the engine from the transmission while still in the truck. If you do to much body lift you have radiator mounting and other issues. stick to 1 inch to make it simple.
Engine is the same , but the way the transmission is connected is different , between two and four wheel drive .
Basically there are 6 variations of the Toyota Tundra. 3 different engines and 3 different body styles along with 2x4 and 4x4 drive trains. I suggest that you go to a Toyota dealer and ask your question. Oh and a whole bunch of options to pick from.
