Are the frets you press on a Rock Band guitar the actual frets you would press for that note on a real guitar?

No most definitely not. Notes aren't always just one fret away. And besides, there are SIX strings on a guitar. Not just one line of five buttons.

I think its just to make it simpler. If they had all the frets an atual guitar had i think people would lose interest. Guitar hero games and guitars are supposed to be fun to play if there were more frets i think people would lose interest because instead of playing they would be learning

No you cannot, if you were to take the frets out of a guitar and put them in a different one, it could put your guutar in a huge strain, and possibly causing the neck of the guitar to break. This is because one guitar's fret bored nay be bigger than the other by just the littlest bit, and could leave a gap, therefore when you go to tighten the strings it would really put a hurt on the guitar... Not only that, but im pretty sure if you got them out, they wouldnt be put back in and stay in.

no, a classical guitar doesn't always have a truss rod. The added tension could warp the neck making it unplayable over time. In my experience classical guitars also have softer frets than a steel string guitar. Steel strings would eat away at a classical guitars frets in no time. I've personally witnessed classical guitars that were ruined because someone wanted to use steel strings on them.
