There are very few islands between Canada and Greenland but if you are referring to those around Hans Island then no, and BTW Hans is ours. ;)

I'm not sure if this is the island you mean, but Greenland is northeast of Canada. Improved answer by webmasterpdx...... The Island is called Ellesmore Island and belongs to Canada. There is a dispute about one of the little islands between this island and Greenland called Hans island (obviously between Greenland and Canada). I'm not sure why because there is nothing there :-), and it's too darn cold to live. I think the population of Ellesmore island is something like 100 plus maybe up to 100 more of military origin.
Greenland.
the Canadian shield is where there is many peninsulas and islands are The Canadian Archipelago. 36,000 islands spread out over the Arctic ocean. there mostly a part of Nunavut. there are many islands all along its coastal Area's as well, such as in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Quebec.
It depends where in Canada you are. But in general, I believe Canada to be colder because some of Nunavut's islands are extremely close to the North Pole. Closer to the North pole than Greenland. As well, a greater amount of area is close to the North Pole than Greenland it to the North Pole. I may not be 100% right about this though.
