Are there 2 fuse boxes on a Saturn S 1996 your Tail lights are not working you have replaced fuses under the dash and they still do not come on unless you hook them up hot and then they stay on all th?

Often a tail light failure turns out to be a problem with the switch. I assume you mean the tail lights and not the brake lights.
Yes there is a fuse box under the hood beside the battery

I had the tensioner and belt replaced on my 93 saturn. Before hiring someone I looked into it online. My advice is that unless you have the tools and basic skills for mechanics (the basics yes, the tools no) I would suggest you take it to a mechanic and since you are doing that you might aswell have the serpinine belt replaced and tightened too. It is impossible to know what you mean. This is a statement not a question. Unless you are talking about the map lights located above the Windshield. And yes there are inside lights, in the doors, in addition to the map lights. If they are not working the bulbs may burned out, there ma be an opn in the circuit, or you may have a blown fuse.
