There are many descendants of the Aztecs in Mexico.
Although a lot are not pure Aztec, they still speak a form of the old Aztec language.
Ancient Aztec buildings won't be seen though because the Christians destroyed almost all of them.
No, the Aztec civilization no longer exists. The Spanish conquistadors led by Hernán Cortés invaded and conquered the Aztec Empire in the 16th century, resulting in the decimation of the population and the destruction of their cities. Today, their descendants are integrated into the broader Mexican population.
The Aztecs were an ancient civilization that existed in what is now Mexico. Their descendants are still among the population of Mexico today, so if you have Mexican heritage, there could be a genetic and cultural connection to the Aztecs. However, for most people outside of Mexico, there is typically no direct genealogical link to the Aztecs.
We know more about the Aztecs because they built a vast empire in Mesoamerica, made advancements in agriculture, architecture, and arts, and their famous capital city of Tenochtitlan was conquered by the Spanish conquistadors. The Aztecs also left behind extensive codices and records of their history and culture.
The Aztecs no longer exist as a society. Their civilization was based in central Mexico and their descendants are a part of the modern Mexican population.
Yes, the Aztecs had a variety of technologies, such as aqueducts for water transportation, agriculture techniques like chinampas (floating gardens), and sophisticated stone masonry for their buildings and temples. They also used a form of writing known as glyphs, as well as a highly accurate calendar system.
Today, the Aztec civilization no longer exists as a distinct society. However, their influence can still be seen in Mexican culture, including language, art, and traditions. Some descendants of the Aztecs still live in Mexico, particularly in areas around the former Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan (modern-day Mexico City).

Hernán Cortéz was the Spanish Conquistador leader who eventualy overthrew the Aztec civilization. At first when Cortéz arrived in Tenochtitlan, the Aztecs thought he was their god Quetzacoatl. Therefore, Cortéz was able to work his way to the downfall of the aztecs but was then chased out of the city when the Aztecs figured out that Cortéz was not their god Quetzacoatl. When Cortéz left, he also left behind diseases common to the Spanish such as smallpox which led to the downfall of the Aztecs. I'm sure there are many small details I left out, please correct if you know any more information!! xD
