As of 2012, there exist three Metal Gear Solid games with the exception of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for the Microsoft Xbox 360. They are Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. They are part of the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection, and can also now be purchased separately.
Yeah. There is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. And soon in 2011 Metal Gear Solid: Rising (staring Raiden).
If you mean story wise then I believe it goes: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear Solid 4 But I may be wrong, and that isn't counting either of the Portable Ops games.
Metal Gear Solid Rising is scheduled to come out on the PS3, XBOX 360 and PC in the near future. It is highly doubtful any of the other MGS games will ever come out on the PC.
yes! even the creator said so! don't believe me? search it up!Search it up my butt! MGS4 is not the last metal gear series. Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming out. don't believe me? search it up!No. Since Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was released in April of 2010. Hideo Kojima mentioned in an interview that he personally believed this to be Metal Gear Solid 5, in the sense that the development team for this game was the same size as that of Metal Gear Solid 4. Metal Gear Solid: Risinghas since been retitled Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and is being developed by Platinum Games for release in February of 2013. As of August 2012, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has been announced, which will be the next canonical installment in the Metal Gear saga, and will presumably follow the exploits of Big Boss.
Solid Snake will most likely make cameos in future games but not as a main character. He will obviously make an appearance during flashbacks in the new game MGS: RISING. Although his "Father" will be in more games to come.
metal gear solid1, metal gear solid 2 sons of liberty, metal gear solid 3 snake eater, and metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots.
In most of the games you play as Solid Snake. Hence the name Metal Gear Solid. You dont play as Solid Snake though, in MGS3 MPO and MPO+. Also Metal Gear Acid 1 and 2 for PSP
metal gear solid
yes
There are plenty of games similar games to Metal Gear Solid (sadly none as good in my opinion). The best of which are from either the: Splinter Cell or Syphon Filter Game Series. X
The difference is that metal gear solid games are just the game. Substances are the game with new features GHOST-OF-TSC: exactly
Yes the reason they came out with the PS3 was for better games so of course the PS3 game titles will be better for Metal Gear Solid on the PS3 than on the PS2
