historically accurate death tolls are impossible. by persecution do you specific persecution or just anybody killing Muslims. there is also the question of sunni's and shia's both are Muslim, but both killeach other for not believing in their own particular brand of Islam kinda like protestants persecuting catholics and Mormons. so the short answer is no, ther is no accurate death toll, records from the begining of the commor era are a bit sketchy and remember the winners write history
