The problem with affiliate marketing is you don't get payed instantly. Sometimes it can take a month to 2 months to get a check depending on their return policy.

6. Make sure there is a 'Get out of Jail" card attached to the offer. You should be able to examine the opportunity for a week to a month, and be able to receive a full refund if you are not satisfied.

7. If they offer to sell you a businesses where you don't need to do a thing but you will make money, be prepared to spend a lot of money with little return.

Considering 99% of work at home programs are scams and that legitimate home based business are rare. In fact a lot of work at home opportunities that makes you some cash also turns you into a scammer by selling the same scam. But some business are legitimate.
