Yes there are. We were warned about them after we saw one crawling around the house during our recent trip to Trinidad. According to my Trinidadian aunt, if one bites you, you are going to the hospital.
red centipedes
A centipede has one hundred legs, hence the term. A brightly colored centipede may be poisonous. Is that a centipede on your back?
Nadal (נדל) means "centipede"
yes and no they are venomous which means if they bite you their venom will get in you (poisonous is when you lick them like a poison dart frog has poison on it skin but centipede isn't like that).
Fer-de-Lance
yes but what I don't know is whether or not they are poisonous
A centipede bite may have a few complications for humans, including anaphylactic shock, but are generally nonfatal. Centipedes can be poisonous in other states besides Utah.
That I know of, the only poisonous snake in Trinidad and Tobago is the mapepire which is supposed to be a relative of a coral snake.
about2 or 3 spicies of centipedes are poisonous but the others arnt if you ever find a red catapiller remember that they are red for a reason so if a bird eats it its poisonous sometimes the fib but remember to just stay away from them
A scolopendroid is a scolopendrine (centipede-like) humanoid creature. It is also any animal similar to a centipede.
